Design Intern

JOB DESCRIPTION:
If you're in school (or have recently graduated) and are looking for a great introduction into the world of interactive design, this internship is for you!

A design internship at Funny Garbage involves working with Junior and Senior Designers to build out designs as established through their design directions. The internship also includes scanning and preparing imagery for incorporation into designs. As Flash development is very in demand, an opportunity to develop valuable, cutting-edge skills is available to those with a solid understanding of Flash. Overall, interns work closely with the design team and gain a solid understanding of the role of a designer at a multimedia studio. Minimum of 12 hours a week, or whatever the internship program at the school requires. Internships are non-paid.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Applicants must have a working knowledge of designing for the web and be fluent in PhotoShop, Flash and Illustrator. When applying for a design internship, please include the URL to your online portfolio.
