Lead Developer - HIRING

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Award winning design and production firm seeks a technical lead/software developer for client projects and operations management. Applicants should be technically skilled/experienced with an emphasis on creating business solutions. The role involves working as part of a multidisciplinary project team, designing and implementing new software systems, outlining technical solutions/options to clients, and managing the company application infrastructure.

Applicants must have experience designing and developing relational database, especially geared toward database-driven web applications. Candidates must have at least five years of work experience and should have a computer science degree.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Required Languages: Java, JSP, PHP, SQL, JavaScript, XML, XSL, HTML,

Web/Application Servers: Apache, IIS, Tomcat, JRun 4

Databases: Oracle, MS SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Hypersonic SQL

Applications: Eclipse, JEdit, Macromedia Dreamweaver, Visual Studio.net, SQL Server Query Analyzer, SQL Server Enterprise Manager, CVS, FTP, SCP, SSH, VNC, Remote Desktop, ERWin

Systems: Unix, Solaris, Linux, Windows Server 2003, Windows 95/98/XP

Additional Areas of Knowledge (helpful but not required): C++, Hibernate, Stored Procedures, Weblogic, Websphere, Solaris, C# .Net

Required Skills:
+ Experience leading technology projects
+ Experience building and maintaining relational databases, production databases and servers
+ 3+ years of experience with PHP, JSP, ASP, or other web server scripting
+ 3+ years of experience developing Java Servlets or J2EE
+ Comfortable installing and troubleshooting Linux, W2K, PostgreSQL, Apache, JRun etc.
+ Experience purchasing and maintaining computer hardware and software
